StudyFetch Launches Industry Leading AI Explainer Video-Generation Tool for Studying and Learning
LOS ANGELES, March 14, 2025 – StudyFetch, the world's leading AI-powered studying and learning platform for institutions, students, teachers, and parents, has announced the launch of Imagine Explainers, a new product supporting the generation of videos up to one hour long for any topic. This innovation represents a notable leap forward for AI-generated videos and for students' ability to study and learn in new and diverse ways. Through a specific focus on visual content, students are supported to learn in ways that are most comfortable to them, rather than through only the text-based output offered by other leading AI platforms.
By leveraging existing information and documents uploaded by teachers and students, Imagine Explainers generates 10- to 60-minute-long videos in just minutes on any topic relevant to a lesson plan or study area. Imagine Explainers is designed to exceed the needs of students and teachers at all levels, from K-12 to college and beyond, and provides an efficient, cost-effective, and customizable solution for any area of study.
"This is a glimpse into the future of AI-generated educational videos for schools, universities, students, teachers, and parents," said Ryan Trattner, Co-Founder, StudyFetch. "From learning how nuclear fission works, to an explainer on the Pythagorean theorem, to understanding a current event, Imagine Explainers is designed to create and provide personalized educational content for all in a visual format."
StudyFetch's tool provides unique and custom explainer videos which are generated specifically based on the content and materials provided. This significantly reduces non-individualized content as students are able to leverage coursework, study guides, and other teacher-approved documents to generate videos that drive effective and productive use of AI in ways that text-based solutions cannot accomplish. It comes at a time when AI can help solve existing challenges and obstacles across grade levels, fostering responsible use of this technology to prepare students for the AI-integrated workforce.
The current landscape for higher education, as well as K-12, has placed a spotlight on the issues of teacher shortages—more than three million unfilled positions or roles filled by non-certified educators—and cheating by students using AI. Recent data shows that at least one in 10 writing assignments have included AI-generated content. StudyFetch is committed to creating a healthier environment for AI use among students through constant innovation and supporting teachers, district leaders, and university leadership as they adapt to shortages and other obstacles to providing students the best possible learning experience. Expanding learning experiences to audio- and visual-based formats, rather than solely text, is a key differentiator for StudyFetch, as well as for the success of students around the country. This launch comes on the heels of the company's recent release of Tutor Me, a new functionality that provides students with a hyper-personalized conversational AI tutor to support studying and learning.
