A New and Improved Study Plan

Today, we're rolling out a full redesign of the Study Plan, with clearer covered and mastered progress so you know where you stand, more ways to organize your topics since everyone learns differently, and smarter recommendations that always point you to what to study next.
StudyFetch already gives you everything you need to learn a topic. Flashcards, quizzes, practice tests, recordings, and Spark.E to explain anything that isn't landing. What the new Study Plan adds is direction. You open a Study Set and the next right thing is already in front of you, instead of you having to decide where to begin.
Always know where you stand
We’re rolling out two easy ways to track your progress:
Covered Topics
All of the topics that you have progressed through and covered in your studying.
Mastered Topics
These are topics that you fully know and understand. Our Learn Engine compares you against other similar learners learning the same topic around the globe and optimizes so that you know you have actual retention of the material.
Shape the plan around you
The plan adapts to how you study and how much time you have. From the controls at the top you can do a few things.
Pick your mode.
Choose Cram when the exam is tomorrow, Standard for a normal week, or Comprehension when you want to go deep and really understand the material.
Sort it your way.
There are five ways to order your topics, and each one is useful at a different point in the semester:
• Recommended is our pick for what to study next. It weighs what you haven't covered, what you're weak on, and what's coming up, then puts the highest-impact topics first.
• Material orders topics by the files you uploaded, so the plan follows your actual lecture slides and notes in the order your professor taught them.
• Exam groups topics by which test they're on, so you can study one exam at a time and ignore everything that isn't on it yet.
• Syllabus follows the structure of your synced syllabus, matching the order and units your course is actually laid out in.
• Custom lets you set the order yourself. Drag topics into whatever sequence you want when you know your class better than any default.
Live now
Open any Study Set and your new Study Plan is waiting. Add your syllabus and exam dates first and the order and recommendations get even sharper.
