Blood tests check for signs of disease impact on the body.Based on these tests, the lymphoma is assigned a stage from one to four, which describes how widespread the disease is.Stage one involves a single lymph node region.Stage two indicates two or more regions on the same side of the diaphragm.Stage three shows involvement of lymph nodes on both sides of the diaphragm.Stage four indicates disease spread beyond the lymphatic system to other organs.This staging information helps doctors determine the most appropriate treatment approach for each patient.
