Remember, RNA uses Uracil instead of Thymine.RNA synthesis always proceeds in the five prime to three prime direction, adding one nucleotide at a time.As RNA polymerase approaches the stop sequence, transcription enters its final phase.When RNA polymerase encounters the stop sequence, it releases both the DNA template and the newly formed messenger RNA.Behind the transcription bubble, the DNA strands naturally rezip, reforming the double helix.The completed messenger RNA molecule separates from the DNA and floats freely in the nucleus.With transcription complete, the messenger RNA carries the genetic instructions needed for protein synthesis, while the DNA returns to its stable double helix form.This messenger RNA will now be processed and transported to the cytoplasm, where it will direct protein synthesis.
