This week expands the ways you can make StudyFetch your own: design a study timer, exchange prompts with other students, and choose the character and teaching plugin for your next lesson.

New this week

Mini Apps adds custom study timers. Describe the timer you want in the builder, preview the design, and apply it to your study sessions. Browse community designs in the timer library or the Timers section of Explore, and keep using the focus and break settings to shape your session.
Tutor Me lets you choose a teaching plugin while setting up a lesson. During the session, select the character avatar to choose a different character. This brings both the teaching instructions and the character choice into the lesson experience.
Prompts adds sharing and community discovery. Save one of your chat messages as a prompt, share it by link, or browse Explore for prompts other students have made available. When someone shares a prompt with you, save it to your library for your own conversations.
Browser notifications lets you opt into alerts when materials, explainer videos, or quizzes are ready. Choose calendar alerts and study reminders separately, including a reminder to record when class starts. Manage your choices for each browser in notification settings.

Improvements

Improved Read so the article appears as it is generated and you can begin reading while more content arrives. Open an illustration in a larger view and use source citations to explore the material behind a passage. The side chat uses the open article when you ask Sparky for help.
Improved Read navigation from your materials and between topics. Turn Into can open a matching study-plan topic for the material you are viewing, and hovering over the previous or next topic in Continue Reading shows a preview of that topic.
Improved Calendar actions in Sparky Chat so you can manage your schedule while studying elsewhere in the app. Ask about upcoming events or request recurring weekday events, with your saved timezone guiding the conversation.
Improved Notes so saved highlights remain visible when you reopen the document. Math formatting also handles expressions and surrounding text more consistently, keeping explanations readable alongside equations.
Improved Live Lecture so your notes stay visible when you attach additional material. A reminder appears before you leave an active recording through the sidebar or study-set navigation, giving you a chance to stay with your lecture.
